Bonsai Life - Shaken, Not Stirred

This was the Bonsai Life that started it all. It started the series. It started my recovery from my break-up with Chelsea. It started my renaissance. And it started my relationship with Pearl. I was all into drinking martinis at that point and thought this would make a great little Photoshop project. I was right. I have gotten so many compliments on this picture, including the best compliment of all... a girl named Aimee who I met at a bar in the 'Burg, and who was one of the people who inspired me to to draw her, was an up-and-coming graphic artist and webdesigner herself, and when she saw this on my Myspace page, she loved it so much that she made her own version. That's really cool. I have to say, the shadow is one of the best parts of this... I used a shadow-catcher method and it worked great.
