Fine Art :: Strangely enough, I kind of got into digital art before traditional fine art. Or, rather, I guess, I never really thought much of my abilities to draw or paint until I had had some experience creating digital content. But once I learned some techniques, I really started to love it. I LOVE drawing people. Girls especially... There is something so... divine.. about capturing emotion and mood. I really, really enjoy it. I also really love drawing with pencil. The level of detail is unmatched, and you can still do blend shading like with charcoal or conte crayon. I especially love how one tiny line can make or break the whole picture. The first drawing I ever tried of Pearl was going great until I changed 1 line and instantly it became this girl I knew in high school, Amy. There is no denying it. It's Amy now, and I can't figure out what I changed that made it that way. You won't be seeing that drawing here ;) But with this medium, I have tried to do my best and capture those people who have moved me, inspired me and driven me the most throughout my life. And some of it is just what I have in my mind.
