Bonsai Life - Hand Picked

This is a fav for two reasons... first being of course that it was entirely made for Pearl, using a photo that she supplied of the hand (it is a sculpture/installation art art an outdoor art museum around where she lives, kind of like Decordova). She gave me the photos without instruction more than "make something with these". And so I did, for her. But the other reason why it's a favorite is because of the shirt. SOOO many people have asked me how I got the shirt to look llike that. Just a little staging... and the fact that I hammered a nail into my doorframe, stood up on a milk crate, hooked my shirt on it, and stepped off. My feet were on the ground, but the effect was had! Thank god my camera has a remote!
