Photos
I am not a trained photographer. I know what I think makes a good shot, and I generally know how to get it. So many of the photos displayed below are just that. I have done some lighting for use in photography, video and animation and think I have a pretty good eye for stuff. I am deeply attracted to macro shots having to do with texture, nature, and people. I LOVE color. I love contrast and negative space. And I love perfectly timed, hi-speed, action shots. Most of the time, I just shoot for source photos for my Photoshopping, but sometimes I shoot just for the hell of it. Self-Portraits
I'm usually the guy with the camera, and so very rarely do people take pictures of me. So I am often left to take photos of myself. Which is fine, cuz I am a sexy beast, and its really their loss :P Seriously though, I do take a lot of pictures of myself for use in my Bonsai Life and other related series. So I know how to pose for the camera. Seeing as this is a website for me and the things that make me me - I figured a few photos of myself might be appropriate... |

Critters
I love capturing critters in action... or rather, in pause. I've gotten a couple shots that I like. There are a bunch of my kittehs, because I see them always. If I had, say, a pet emu - I'd imaginge that there would be considerably more emu pictures on here. Just the nature of the photography beast. |
